Terms of
Service
The terms governing your use of the Fairfax Mechanical website and our HVAC services.
Last updated: June 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the Fairfax Mechanical website (fairfaxmechanical.co), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our website. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use our website.
2. Website Use
Our website is provided for informational purposes and to facilitate service inquiries. You agree to:
- Use the website only for lawful purposes
- Provide accurate information when submitting forms or requesting estimates
- Not attempt to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to the website
- Not use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the website without permission
3. Service Agreements
All HVAC services provided by Fairfax Mechanical are governed by written service agreements executed between the customer and Fairfax Mechanical LLC. Estimates provided through the website are preliminary and subject to on-site evaluation. A final, binding agreement requires a signed service contract outlining the scope of work, pricing, timeline, and warranty terms.
4. Pricing & Estimates
Prices quoted on the website, in marketing materials, or during initial consultations are estimates and subject to change based on on-site conditions, equipment availability, and scope adjustments. Final pricing is provided in writing before any work begins. Fairfax Mechanical reserves the right to revise estimates if unforeseen conditions are discovered during service delivery — with customer approval before proceeding.
5. Warranties
Fairfax Mechanical provides the following warranties on completed work:
- HVAC Installations: 2-year labor warranty in addition to manufacturer's equipment warranty (typically 5–10 years)
- Repair Services: 90-day labor warranty on repairs
Warranty coverage is detailed in the service contract provided at the time of service. Warranties do not cover damage resulting from misuse, neglect, unauthorized modifications, or normal wear and tear beyond the warranty period.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Virginia law, Fairfax Mechanical LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our website or services. Our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount paid by the customer for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and design elements — is the property of Fairfax Mechanical LLC and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
8. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services. Fairfax Mechanical is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party sites. Accessing linked sites is at your own risk.
9. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Fairfax County, Virginia.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
